Abstract

We give a global description of the branches of positive solutions of second order periodic boundary value problems

                                        u′′− q(t)u + λa(t) f(u)= 0,                       0 < t < 2π,

                                       u(0) = u(2π),   u′(0) = u′(2π)

which are not necessarily linearizable. Our approach based on topological degree and global bifurcation techniques.
