Abstract

By means of the generalized Riccati technique, we establish Kamenev-type and interval oscillation theorems for the second-order nonlinear delay dynamic equation

                                            ( r(t) x(t) ) + p(t) f( x(τ(t)) ) = 0 

on an unbounded time scale T. Our results are extensions of those for second order ordinary differential equations and provide new oscillation criteria for second order delay difference and q-difference equations. Some examples are given to illustrate the significance of our main theorems.
