A new criterion is proposed for the global asymptotic stability of the positive periodic solution to the following delay logistic equation u ′ (t) = u(t)[ r(t) − a(t)u(t) − b(t)u(t − τ)] with continuous and periodic coefficients. Such condition, given in average form, incorporates some known pointwise assumptions. The same strategy is applied to study the linear case.
