Abstract

In this paper, by using upper and lower solutions, we develop monotone method for the nonlinear Caputo fractional boundary value problem of order α where 1 < α < 2. We construct two sequences which converge uniformly and monotonically to the extremal solutions of the nonlinear Caputo fractional boundary value problem.
