A very general conceptual algorithm for finding a solution process of a first order nonlinear differential equation is presented. The scope of this method is exhibited by showing the existing methods of solving nonlinear differential equations as special cases. Moreover, this approach extends for solving a larger class of nonlinear differential equations.
