Abstract

In this paper, some new oscillation criteria for linear matrix Hamiltonian systems are established, which involves the maximum eigenvalue of the coefficients. These results improve and generalize some known oscillation criteria due to G. J. Butler, L. H. Erbe and A. B. Mingarelli [1], N. Parhi and P. Praharaj [2] for self-adjoint second order matrix differential systems, and Yang et. al. [4] for linear matrix Hamiltonian systems.
