This article is concerned with the existence of positive solutions for a class of singular φ−Laplacian boundary value problems posed on the half-line. The nonlinearity depends on the solution and its derivative, and may exhibit a space-singularity at the origin. Some existence results are proved using the upper and lower solution technique in a special Banach space. The onlinearity
obeys sign and growth conditions with respect to the unknown. The singularity is treated by approximation and truncation.
